Major forum change possible soon

Dear Wordplay forum members,

Is anyone interested in taking over ownership of this forum? Due to various life circumstances, It is likely that I will be closing it soon. (I got married. I need to focus better on work when I'm at work. There are some other online interests which have become more important to me. And so on.)

I've really enjoyed playing with you all and will be sad to go.

So, job description.

1) Pay yer $10 per month.
2) Since whoever it is will in a sense have some power to maintain or damage my reputation (because of all the content already here) I'd prefer it be someone I know and have half a reason to trust.
3) Last, do whatever you want, but probably try to not anger site management. Or make me hunt you down.

The wordplay here hasn't been as consistently intellectual as I had originally hoped. And my interest in other subjects like philosophy has sort of pushed mere wordplay to the background. Oh well.

An idea: pick someone you just know will damage your reputation -- in fact, make sure they will. That way, you can relax, because there wont be any surprises...

I think thread should be combined with Making Impression (we all mingling anyway)and CC wil get 2 for 1 deal. End of story!

CajunCenturion has already offered to host Wordplay in combination with Making An Impression, but I am not sure if management will allow moving existing threads from here over there. So you'd have to start from scratch. And if anyone ever wanted to resurrect Wordplay, you wouldn't have all the new content.

For the record, not ALL of us "mingle" the two forums! Some of us have no problem keeping the two separate and staying on topic.
