Major Admin Account Issues

Hello, A couple of days ago I raised he domain functional level from Windows 2000 Native to Windows 2003. I made sure I demoted the last W2k DC and went ahead with raising the domain functional level. I noticed today that my main Administrator account was disabled. Using the backup account I enabled it again but still no joy loging on to the servers. Once again I decided to reset the password and it worked. I may be worrying about nothing but seems a bit strange. Without the backup Domain Admin account things would have been rather more complicated. Any Ideas? Has anyone seen this before? Just need confirmation.

Did you check the security logs to see what/where the account was used to get locked?

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!

Nothing I'm afraid in the logs. Locked account I can live with but a password reset is worying.
