Maintaining OLAP roles

Hello,

I am new to OLAP and am trying to find out if Olap roles can be maintained without using the Analysis Services Console. In particular, i am concerned with assigning new users to roles and maintaining user access to certain dimensions by our IT helpdesk.

This would be great for passing the administration to the I.T. helpdesk.

Hi Darren,

We have set up user groups in active directory. These groups are then inserted by me into the relevant OLAP dimensions. Therefore our Helpdesk only need to add a user to the user group that is relevant.
