Regarding the Maint toggle switch on the 81C CPU's. If my system is currently running on CPU 1 and I want to replace a CNI board (NT6D65AA)on CPU 0 do I place CPU 0 or CPU 1 in maintenance mode? Or since it is the inactice CPU I am working on do I even need to place either of them in maint mode? I will be doing it off hours anyway just in case.

Thanks

The Maint switch will keep the CPU active. So make sure CPU 1 is active then put CPU 1 in Maint, then you can disable and remove the CNI on side 0.

You don't need to put it into maintanance. Just make sure Core with Cni to be replaced is inactive.
