I ahve no idea why this is...our main line is supposed to ring silently then be picked up by the Call Pilot where the inbound caller can select and extention.
For some reason, not sure how or why, the main inbound number rings at one of the user's desk. If he doesn't answer it gets picked up by the callpilot as normal. I've checked his line settings and all are set to unassigned, jsut like everyone else...in fact, all his setting as set just like everyone else...What on earth is going on? Please help!!!!!

This sounds like a Norstar. If so go in to line access and that line one is not set to appear and ring on set in question.

I did...all line on that phone are set to unassigned...
what next?

Check the prime set of the line. Either set it to the Call Pilot DN or none. Also, make sure the line isn't being controlled by a ringing service or hunt group. A way to strip the line programming is to set it to private to a known location momentarily, then return the line to a pool or public assignment. Good luck.
