Good morning,
I am really new to this and only have the knowledge to change extensions and names in ip office manager. But recently our main direct phone number just keeps ringing and not get into the automated answer where they are promted to enter the extension if known. In the Line tab with analogue trunks, there are phone numbers in there when if dialed, it does get into the automated answer. My question is where do I go in IP office manager to make our main phone number work again? Or simply, how can I fix this? Grestly appreciate the help and any advice.

This is kinda like "My car stopped working, how do I fix it?".

There is no one solution, you need to find the source of the issue and fix that, you really should have a business partner support you on that.

Is the voicemail working for general mailboxes.
Voicemail could be down and calls going to fallback .

Has some else got access to the manager software to make changes.

As already said to many things could have happened or changed..

Sorry just realised you said other lines are reaching the AA.

What happens when you ring the main number..does some one answer it on the system.

Start there...

Voicemail does work. We called in using one of the 20 different numbers and dialed our extension. Let it ring until voicemail took over.

When someone outside calls in with our main number, it just keeps ringing and nothing else happens.

Im not sure if someone else has the login information. So far just me, but we inherited the building with the system already installed and just few weeks ago, main numbet stopped working.

I do realize that this issue could be anything as well many ways to resolve it, but we don't have a tech and we are not under the maintenance contract. Wanted to ask the question in case someone else had a similar issue and could possible chime in.

Thnak you both for responding.

Few questions:

Is your voicemail Embedded or Voicemail Pro
What is the destination of the main phone number - is it a group, or a user?
Is there any forwarding enabled on the destination of the main phone number?

If embedded, you can try to reboot the chassis.

Or like Janni said, turn to a BP for support and I'm sure your issue will get resolved faster than it will here.

Best question would be does the analog port light blink when you call it. Could be a provider issue.

Voicemail type is voicemail pro.
Main phone desination I am unclear and also, where can I locate that in offfice manager?
We're currently trying to get an authorized dealer to come diagnose this.

No lights are blinking when calling.

I assume you have an incoming call route built against this number? Also launch system status and go to that line number and call it, do you see it alearting?

If no lights are blinging when you call... call your provider. The call isn't getting to the system.
