Hi all,
I'm having an intermittent problem with our Meridian (option 11C ?).
We have 3905 and 3902 phones, and it appears that although it is set up to display the extention number when riniging out, some calls are showing as our main DDI number and not the extention. - Its a new system, and i'm not totally ofay with it yet. - I have spoken to BT, but they couldn't find a fault. - could any of you point me in a direction? - I'm unable to find a pattern, - it appears to be different users, however i do believe that they all appear to be on the 3905 phones.
Thanks in advance......

Do they all go out on the same cct or is there more than one cct?

do a tnb print of the phones - one that works one that doesn't and see if there are any cls differences.

While you're in there can you look in LD2 and do tdst for me. I take it you are in the UK? The clocks go forward this weekend.....

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Yes i'm in the UK, i'm sorry to sound really dense, but i have only done the OTM course,(due on another in a couple of weeks) and seem to have been thrown in at the deep end! Please can you explain ( in user language if possible) what you mean and i'll check it out!

Did have a think about the time change, was going to worry about that friday!

log into your switch
type LD 2
then at the .
type tdst press return you should get something along the lines of....

>ld 2
TFC000
.tdst
SDST ON
FWTM MAR L SUN 2 (AT 02:00 28/3/2004 )
BWTM OCT L SUN 2 (AT 02:00 31/10/2004 )

then at the . type **** press return then logo.

If it's set then worrying about it today means that I can get bladdered friday pm and not have to worry....:)

right, i have just checked my system and its identical to yours. - Soooooo either both are ok and monday morning everything will be fine, - or else i'm going to be moaning to BT!!! - reckon best to go with the 1st and just drink fri night!!!!!

You need to check the CLID setting for yor extns. For analogue sets its the # after the DN, DN 2674 0. For digital sets its the # after the DN, KEY 00 SCR 3999 0, except for ACD sets which is the # between the ACD number & Agent ID, KEY 00 ACD 919000 0 9114. You will then need to check your CLID tables in LD15. You can do this by going to LD21 & doing a print

If you have only done an OTM course this may be stretching your abilities at this stage, (apologies if that sounds condescending), but doing a print certainly won't hurt. You could also suggest to your vendor that they might care to check this.
