Hi,
Our Exchange55's queue is full of pending emails with no originator, is there a way to remove them automaticlly? they are causing performance slow down.

thanks

intall a third party email firewall such as XWall or Praetor, both well worth the expense

It there a way I can set an expire date/time?

I am having this exact same problem and I have just contacted Microsoft to get this Hotfix - and they are saying i have to pay £199.99 for it as it Ex5.5 is now in extended support! This is crazy - 12 months ago it was free. Any ideas?

It doesn't sound like M$ to charge for a patch even if it's on extended support. If it's a security patch, they will release it free of charge. One procedure M$ does is take your money for the support call and then refunds it at the end of the call because it was a patch.. That may have happened to you. When it's a patch M$ will never charge for it.

It's not really a fix per sey. It prevents the delivery of <> messages, it still sits in your queue. Bite the bullet and get a spam filter, it works well. There are many solutions out there.
