I have a routine that emails employee payslips. If I send the payslips as text file each employee receives the correct payslip. I set up the routine to send the report to Bullzip in order to create a PDF attachment. Now some employees are getting the payslip of another employee and it is the same report file that created the text files.

Is there any other way to send pay slips in PDF format that works.

I put all the information I got together and the mail payslip routine is now taking shape. I want to ask you one question: suppose during the processing of the email documents you sent some other document to Bullzip printer inadvertently how would that affect the processing? How would you distinguish the email document from that particular one?

Presumably by the PDF filename.

On that point, I see that you have used Payslip.PDF as the name of the PDFs. I repeat my earlier suggestion that you should give each payslip a unique name. Ideally, this would include the word "payslip", and also the employee ID and the month and year.

This would help ensure you correctly send the PDF to the correct employee. Importantly, it will also be of benefit to the employee. It means he will be able to save the attachment without risk of overwriting the previous month's payslip, and he will be able to see at a glance which month any given PDF relates to.
