I have a report which have some cosmetics and it is important for the neatness of the report to leave the cosmetics there. But now I need to to mail the report. Is there any way of doing this from within foxpro instead of using frx2word or anything like the acrobat reader.

Hi!

You can use
report form ... to file ... ascii
This will make a text file that you can send vie email. It is the most simple way, but, well, no formatting - it produces just a text file. You can even make a separate version of the report file with special design for exporting into text, so it will look better.

But that is the problem that I need some formating in the Report not just the data.

Is there a way to produce and screenshot of the Report or export the Report to some form of image like bmp,jpg,... anything

Thanks

Chris,

I use a TIFF printer and the Kodak Imaging Pro Flow applications.

Here is how I do it

Set default printer to the TIFF printer,
* TIFF printer is set to name the file in datetime format so it does not ask for a file name
report form xxxx to print
copy the file to a location on the servers hard drive where the flow program looks for it
Flow program scans the directory every 15 seconds for new files
Flow program prints the file and then deletes it.

P.S. The reason I use a TIFF format is so I can ship it to the customer in the delivery method of their choice: Fax, Email, FTP, Overnight Mail, etc David W. Grewe

There are also other similar printers, for example, there is a PDF printer that takes any prints and put them into the PDF file.
