I have created a database in ACCESS 97 and I am distributing it with the run-time engine to many users. The program seems to work fine on a wide variety of computers and OS, but I have one computer where in a mailing label report the only item that shows up is #name? All other reports work fine on this computer. The computer in question is running windows 95 where I developed the data base with Windows 98SE as the operating system, could this make a difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated to solve this problem. It’s hard to fix something when it is not broken on your system.

Thank in advance for any help.

you could have references to libraries which were on the W98 computer, but missing on the W95 computer. Go in the design view of any module and look in Tools -> References, maybe there is a tick next to a library which says "MISSING:some_library_name". If so, try removing the reference.

DavidCat,

Thanks for the quick answer, unfortunately the WIN95 computer is about 1,000 miles from me. I do not have access to it and only the Access runtime engine is installed on it so it is not possible to view in a module. Do you have any other suggestions.

Thanks for the help,
Tfrank
