Hi All.

I have an issue where one of the offices in an scn where the mailboxes do not show up in the ucm when I connect to the ucm.

I verifed the users have mailboxes, and made sure that the scn's were up. In a previous question I had, a suggestion that had worked was to tear down and rebuild the scn link from the questioned office to the main office with the ucm.

This has been done, but I still don't see the mailboxes. Any ideas?

Regards

Just a thought...

You wouldn’t have the embedded voicemail still active on the particular system you are having the issue with

You would have mailboxes but not on the UCM.

You never know

Thanks snowman.

Nope. I definitely checked and it shows Centralized voicemail, using the correct line (SCN) back to the main unit uith the UCM.

Regards

Can you describe what's not working a bit better - "mailboxes do not show up in the ucm" is a bit meaningless, especially when followed by "I verifed the users have mailboxes". What do you see where? - SSA, SSH, VMPro client?

First thought would be check SSA for alarms, check for duplicate extension numbers.

Also check the SCN link is on LAN1. The UCM doesn't work well with connections from LAN2.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

HI Guys.

Sorry for the delay. Busy busy.

The solution to this issue was to use the "new" (to me) SCN web server / webclient.

While looking through the logs there were (for example) 8 packets sent... 9 received.... The customer said nothing else was using the address or port of the other office... so I will believe them on that... :-D. but you can't get more responses than you requested.

Anywho, that is the solution. And you can't have only one line as webserver / webclient. Change one, gotta change them all.

Hope this helps someone else.

Regards
