Mailboxes don't delete

We are running Exchange 5.5 SP3. Some mailboxes have been deleted in the past and still show up in exchange under mailbox resources, however they don't show up in the recipients container, where I normally delete them from.

Hi upsilona, couldn't help but notice that you and me are in the same predicament regarding mailboxes, was wondering if you ever found a solution to your problem.

You will need to run one of the database utils to compact the exchange priv.edb I forget which util it is but its listed in the backoffice utils pack. Exchange Database are built on the same Jet technolgy that Access uses and deleted records are justed marked until a compact is run.
