Mailbox Size not Reducing

I delete almost everything from a mailbox, and the server still thinks it contains many items..

At the server highlight the mailbox you want to flush. Go to tools > clean mailbox. From the option box choose how far back you want to clean, type of things, i.e., messages, notes, journel, etc, whether or not you want to delete or just move to the deleted folder. Hit start and let 'er rip.

Wait for IS Maintenance to happen (check the schedule, usually overnight). (Also check the stuff isn't sitting in Deleted Items, don't laugh it's more common than you think!)

This is fixed with a post sp-3 isinteg. Your not on SP4? If so run istinteg -pri -fix -test mailbox Dan
