When we run the mailbox manager (or when it runs weekly) the following message is generated...

The Microsoft Exchange Server Mailbox Manager has completed processing mailboxes
Started at: 2003-08-01 11:11:43
Stopped at: 2003-08-01 11:12:16
Mailboxes processed: 43
Messages that would be moved or deleted: 1751
Size of messages that would be moved or deleted: 2956.66 MB

Could someone explain what this means please? particularly the bit that says "would be removed". Would be removed if we did what ????

Cheers

Chris

I'm sure you've probably gotten some kind of answer on this from another source, but just in case you are still wondering... The report is just a basic list of what the manager has done. The wording isn't all that great but the part you're most interested in is the "would be moved or deleted", this means that is would be moved or deleted based on what you specified in your mailbox mangement policy
