Mail removed from Inbox when i open it

Each time i open an email it removes it from my inbox and places in my all documents list, however i am not able to find it in my inbox any longer. Can someome please tell me why it is doing this and how i can stop it? Thanks.

are you using the "view unread" view in your inbox?

you will know if there is a "view all" button in your toolbar
