Mail Operations on VB

Hi,

is there a simple way to send mail from VB?
and my second question is: is it possible to check a POP3 e-mail account for new mails from vb?

Use the MAPI controls to send email from VB via MS Outlook.

is it necessary to be outlook installed on machine for using MAPI control?
will any user that doesn't have outlook be able to use my program?

i've found everything needed on POP3 thanks...

I believe that MAPI will also work with Outlook Express and probably others. You will have to check. I have only used it with Outlook. Thanks and Good Luck!
