Mail merge problems

I've written a program in COBOL that outputs CSV files. I've then written a macro in Word that opens these CSV files, converts them to XLS format and then mailmerges them.

This has all worked fine until I've put on Office XP on Windows XP and I keep getting the following error (5535):

"Word could not finish merging these documents or inserting this database."

I can't find anything about this error on the Microsoft site, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Q212358. I did a search on your error message and not on the error number.

I've already seen this article - the problem is that I don't have any quotation marks in my data!

What now??
