Mail merge not working after installing NAV 2006

My subscription to Norton Internet Security 2005 just ran out so I bought NAV 2006. I first uninstalled NIS 2005 then installed NAV 2006. Now my mail merge will not work! When I try to open an address book. The process is (Step 1) create document. (step 2) get data / use address book / outlook address book and BOOM I get a message (Word was unable to open the data source) and I get a message at the bottom of MS Word 2000 (Requesting virus scan). I did not have this problem with NIS 2005.
