Mail me when backup completed

How do I go about getting netbackup (ver3.1) to email me when any backup has been completed. It emails me if one fails, or when the netbackup db is backed up. It would be great if I could run a script everytime a backup is complete aswell but emailing me would be fine.

Run This File in crontab when you know your backup is complete

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/mail_bp_reports

you will need to vi this file and input your e-mail address!!!

Is there a way to do this with a NT Master/Media server? I heard of a program called 'Blat.exe', does this sound familiar?

I have also heard of blat.exe and the person that helped set up our system said it would work, and installed it, but I haven't been able to get it to work. Any info about BLAT would be helpful.

To get the Blat to work you should:
1) Copy the blat.exe to c:\winnt\system32
2) Setup to point to your smtp server: for example
blat -install <smtp server address> <sender's address>

Then you have to modify the nbmail.cmd script
and backup_exit_notify.cmd script to have NBU e-mail you
when a backup finished.

How about v3.4? The file, mail_bp_reports, is not on my system.
