Mail is corrupt

I have a Domino 5.0.5 Sept 2000 server.

Sometimes when mail is sent out the attachments become corrupt.

Any one else seen this or has a solution.

Ideas and help is greatly received .

We have experienced the same problem, but only when users forwarded the attachments (Server platform: AS/400). Last week-end we upgraded to Domino 5.07 - we have been told that the problem would be fixed with this release. We are still testing to verify this.
A workaround we recommended to our users: Always use 'Copy into new mail', and never 'Forward' when sending an attachment. This worked for us in every case.

Thats great, Im having trouble upgrading on one of our servers atm, I have taken over the network and its abit in a mess.Ill let u know once its done.

We are successfully up and running with 5.07 and AS/400-release 5.1 since last week-end. So far we didn't encounter another destroyed attachment --> it seems that the problem has been solved as promised (let's hope it stays that way... )
