We host a clients e-mail on our server. This client has a total of 5 mail accounts. Only one user is having problems. When someone sends an e-mail to his account they get a bounce back after a few days but he DOES get the e-mail right away. See below the contents of the bounced mail:
-------------
Reporting-MTA: dns; smtp.host.ml3group.com
Arrival-Date: Tue, 16 Oct 2007 08:20:42 -0400
Received-From-MTA: dns; localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1])

Final-Recipient: rfc822; 10sparky10@mycingular.backberry.net
Action: failed
Original-Recipient: rfc822; alex@hoodez.com
Status: 5.0.0
Diagnostic-Code: unknown; Connection timed out
---------
The thing is, we host the "hoodez.com" domain but there is nothing on our server pretaining to the address of 10sparky10@mycingular.backberry.net.

don't know if this will help but i'd suggest...
if ever there was a blackberry linked to collect email off the server and leave copies for outlook or what ever and that person no longer has the black berry config properly or if they changed user name or other settings it may still be pulling from black berry or cingular server and sending a bouce from there

note: the address my not need to be on the server to pull from webmail I believe its all handled right threw black berry but I may not be correct

try calling blackberry support
but I warn you immediately request level 3 tech support and schedule an hour out of your day to sit on hold and answer redundent and retarded questions you could also goto black berry website and theres a way to login and look at settings thats the best I got let me know how it works out

Thanks for the response.
The problem is that it is not BLACK Berry....the domain is BACK Berry (10sparky10@mycingular.backberry.net). I did a whois on the domain and you can actually ping it so it is alive. I am not sure how this all started nor how to rectify it.....real stumper

mycingular.backberry.net is one of those squatter domains just type it into your web browser. The address was probably mistyped when it was input. try sending one to ...blackberry.net and see what happens

The answer is "42"

Thanks Franklin. The issues is that we host our clients domain (hoodez.com) and when people send him mail to that address the sender gets a bounce back days later saying it could not send the mail to 10sparky10@mycingular.backberry.net....but they never sent it to that account...they sent it to his "hoodez.com" and he actually gets the mail but the sender thinks he didn't. It is as if there is a forwarder set up on the "hoodez.com" account to forward to the 10sparky10@mycingular.backberry.net account but we host the hoodez.com account and we do not have any forwarders set up....this is a real stumper......any ideas?
Thanks again

Like Imentioned before its not a forwarded your looking for I bellieve black berry uses a graber of some sort so when it sees an email go to that account it pulls a copy and send it to black berry phone if phone is inactive or not cofiged right that would cause bounce back check with blackberry
