Hello,

On our company we have different domino domains, administrated for different people. We are trying to send a mail from one domain to another using Lotus Notes name, not the internet name. We have the directory of that domain replicated on one database and included it on our directory assistance. But the mail doesn't arrives to the destination, it doesn't find any path to it. We are not cross-certified. What do we need to create? An adjacent domain, global domain, no adjacent domain ...? And any connection document?

Thanks in advance for your help

Maria

if you have the addressbook in your directory assistance it should know that it needs to deliver that mail to the other domain, what's missing is a connection document from your current domain to the other domain.

Hello, thanks for your help. I have created the connection document and now the mail has been transferred to the hub server. But now, the mail remains there undefinitely and the next message appairs on the log.nsf database:

Router: No messages have been transferred to xxx/domain through Notes. Remote server is not a known TCP/IP host.

Do you know this message error?

Thanks another time.

Maria

check the connection document, make sure that you either add the hostname of the other server or ip address to the hostname/address field

are you sure the box can reach the other server?
(get the notesconnect tool from notes.net's sandbox and try to connect to the other domain's server using the NotesRPC port (1352/tcp))
