Magix with 3 AutoAtt

I have a new customer that had us move an existing Merlin Magix system.When we reinstalled the system at the new location the processor card would not come up.We replaced the processor and reprogrammed the system.The Merlin Mail has the original programming before the system was moved.The system has 3 businesses running off of the Magix.The system has a Pri with a DID for each business.Each business has a main phone with an extension that is the same as the DID.All of the main phones have mailboxes programmed to be AutoAtt. boxes.All phones are in cover group 30.At night i want the AutoAtt. to answer immediately for all 3 businesses with the specific companys greeting.When i tried to use the night button at the main console Auto.Att. 1 answered for all three businesses.Any info. would help.

Just use a Do Not Disturb button on each of the phones. Since they are DID's for each of the Attendants then it will send them immediate to the AA vs. ringing before going to AA. You can label it "Night" for the customer if that helps them understand it.

I tried to use the DND and it did not work.I also tried to use CFWD and it would not work.I left out one important part.All of the main phones have a phone or two with coverage of them so if the operator is busy they can back them up.

If you have coverage buttons, they will ring even if the extension being covered uses DND. Try adding a DND to those extensions that cover the operators.

We tried to put DND buttons on the main phone and the 3 covering phones.When i call in it rings on my cell phone but it does not ring anywhere in the building.It covers to the V-Mail after 9 rings.ANY THOUGHTS.

If you still have the old processor, perhaps you could use an old back-up file from the flash card to put it back like it was prior to the replacement.

That was one of the first things that i tried.The backup from the old processor needed to be converted and i could not get the convert to happen with any version of SPM.

WinSPM or SPM?

If you haven't tried WinSPM, do the upgrade steps to WinSPM 9.0.

That should convert the old version with no problem.

If that does not work, fire up a dummy system and go through each programming step side by side with each system and make sure you did not miss anything.
