I have a Merlin Messaging Vml on a Magix. When callers zero out of a mailbox, they get transferred to the operator which is extn 33. Unfortunately the operator is the only set ringing at that time. If I dial 33 it rings on several sets. I would like to have the zero feature ring on the other sets as well. Please help!

It is probably set-up to 0-out to the call answer service operator (ext. 33). It will only ring that phone not others covering ext. 33. To change this, you can change your personal operator in your personal mailbox to go to extension 33. I believe it is option 4 in your mailbox to change the personal operator. Unfortunately, you need to go into each person's mailbox and make that change, you cannot to my knowledge set a system-wide change for personal operator's.

You can log into the system administration and change the call answer service operator to x33. This way all phones that ring when 33 rings, will ring for 0-out calls as well. It is probably still in its default of 768 or 10 or something. It is getting to 33 because it is the lowest logical port on the system (the forst port).

I could not change 768 to 33 for some reason. It sounds like a tedious way to go to every individual's mailbox and point it to 33.

Does 33 have a mailbox? If not, assign one, or even a transfer only status. Then you should be able to set the system operator to 33 instead of 768. (by the way, this is all in the voice mail, not in WinSPM)

768 is actually an invalid destination, which is why calls that zero out ring only at the operator extension, and no where else, and don't cover to the operator's voice mail if not answered.

33 does have a mailbox. Still I was not able to assign 768 as 33 or change it from 768 to 33 in the vml.

you need to change your 0 & time out option in the attendant , you have 3 choices , 0 , disconnect or extension choose extension change to 33, listen to it all after selector codes

Bobsou's solution will only work for 0-outs from the auto-attendant. Not from a person's mailbox. If that is what you are trying to accomplish, then that is all you need to do.
