Is there any way to send a name along with the number on an outgoing PRI Call?

In the us Name is retrieved from the local telco by the far end, it is not sent by equipment.

Thanks, I was being told that I could override the local Telco name by sending a name along with a number, but I couldn't see any way to program it....

Whoever told you that told you a 1/2 lie.

In a lot of cases you can send your own NUMBER, but Legend/Magix does not send name.

The only cases I'm aware of 'sending name' working is between Avaya systems if there is full ss7/isdn connectivity end-to-end, and in Canada. Most carriers in the US strip the extra messaging so name doesn't work, or the LEC overrides with the name they have in the LIDB.
