I have:
...Magix 4.0
...a 12 extention call center
...5 calling groups assigned, each configured to "Group Ring"

They are:
1. City Area English
2. City Area Spanish
3. USA Today
4. Wall Street Journal
5. Dallas News

Each extention is logging into all 5 calling groups. Calls ring into the calling groups properly. However,
some of the attendants are getting confused about which calling group they are answering.... the abbreviated label thing.

Is there a way to put each calling group on a separate button (on each of the 12 phones)? I would like to have five separate buttons assigned to each calling group.

Just program an autodial button (inside) for each of the 5 groups.

Tom:

I do not understand. When a call is ringing into the calling group, it will ring on the autodial button??? I thought autodial was to ring out?

Also, how do I autodial a calling group?

No - when you said attendant(s) - I thought you meant the operator(s) needing to ring the calling group or transfer a call to the calling group. They could use inside autodial buttons (for the Group ext#) to accomplish that).

As for incomming calls to each group - assuming you labelled them - the sales people would have to look at their display to see which calling group was ringing. So relabel each of the 5 groups to someting simple: CTY ENG, CTY SPN, USA, WALL, DALLAS.

They should see the group label and grp ext# on their display with incomming calls.

Ok. I was hoping for more flexibility.

Thanks a bunch
