Madatory profile problems 1

alright, i created a new user called "teacher" i logged on, made the adjustments to the profile (desktop and such), i logged out to save thesettings to the server. then made it mandatory. i logged back in and it works great with scripts and everything.

the problem,
i set the progile path on one of the other users like "jsmith" using the correct path.

i logged in as "jsmith" and the scripts no longer run and it only copied part of the profile. such as i get a program shortcut but not the IE shortcut. and i'm not getting the desktop picture.

i logged off and logged back in as "teacher" and that profile runs fine.

i adjusted shares to everyone, updated Group Policy, and it's still only copying a portion of the profile.
can anyone help me?

This should get you pointed in the correct direction. It should still work for 2003 with little/no corrections, even though it's "designed" for 2000.
