Hi,

I created some macros in my spreadsheet and when I open the spreadsheet it tells me that it contains macros and asks whether or not I want to disable them. When I deleted all of my macros, the list is still popping up saying that there are macros in the spreadsheet, when in fact I deleted them all. How can I get this dialog box to not appear when I open up my file, besides going into macro securities and setting it to low.

Thanks for your help.

Do you have a personal.xls in your VBA area? If so, this will be there every time you open excel.

One way to make sure everythign is cone is to delete the excel.xlb file which is like the normal.dot file for word. Deleteing it will do nothing except for default any configurations you have made (ie toolbars and such).

Click on Tools from the top line menu. Click on options from the menu. Once the options menu comes up find the security tab and click on it. Towards the bottom of the security tab is a button for macros. Click on the button and lower the security lever to lowest and the worning will go away.

No - don't set security to low - that way there is NO security

All you need to do is remove the module that the macros were on

In the project window, right click on teh module and choose "Remove" - you don't want to export it (when you are prompted)
