Hi All,
I have a Word 2010 install on Win7 Pro/64 where a macro template had been placed in the Startup folder. I replaced the template in the startup folder with a newer version, but it still runs the old version. If I delete the template from the Startup folder entirely, the macro still opens and functions in Word. Where's it coming from? I have rebooted, etc. so not a hung Word instance in the background holding it open.
The Startup file location in Trust Center points to the classic [tt]users\%username%\appdata\roaming\microsoft\word\startup[/tt] folder.
Even if I nuke that folder, the macro is still running when Word starts. How do I find where it loading that macro from? Again, when I put that new macro in the Startup folder it is ignored. The new template has the same
I have checked with the network admin at the site and no Roaming Profiles are in place. And again, the Trust Center points to the location above but is definitely ignoring any changes I make to the template in that folder.
Any help appreciated! Thanks.
