I have a click event property on a subform control set to a macro (OpenForm). It will not work! Yet when I open the sub-form as a form and click on the subform control it performs perfectly and opens the specified form perfectly. Why does
my macro not run in first instance?....its bugging me!!!

jack..any suggestions are welcome...

Do you mean that you have a macro set to run on the event "On Enter" of the subform?

yes; I have the On Click set to a macro;
But I have since gone through a series of examples and see that I had the omitted the form name from the macro as in Forms![FormName]![Subform1 Name]![FieldName}. I had only supplied the name of the subform...which of course worked fine when I was testing the subform on its own...It's a bit of an anomaly in Access I think...but many Thanks for your help...
