MAC software work on intel machines

this is quite a newbie question but here it goes:
will MAC software work on intel machines under the MAC X for Intel?
I have adobe software that work on MAC computers but with the recent announcement that MAC OS X will work on Intel machines, I was wondering if my adobe software will work on the Intel machine or if I need to get adobe software that runs on windows? kind of confused

'Intel' is not 'Microsoft Windows'.

Go to adobe.com to read their statement on Mac-Intel machine support.

I have been hearing that there is some compatibility issues with Quark 7 and he Intel based Macs. Anyone have details on this or can point me to a resource about this?

QuarkXPress 7 is not yet available as a Universal Binary for Intel-Macs. A public beta of the UB version was released. See quark.com for details.
