Mac G4 and HP printers

I'm interested in buying a HP CP1700ps (postscript) printer to work with my MacG4. Does any one know if the compatibility is good. Does it take a long time to print because of the postscript option. (I need it to print Quark document with EPS files). The technical document from HP says it works but I would like to know from a "real" user point of view.
Any other recommandations of printers (HP with postscritp option is appreciated!)

My only other recomendation would be the 10PS, bit of a cost but the results are well worth it.


If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.
