Our NAC works of the MAC-AUTH-BYPASS feature. I am trying to get this to work on our 2950s. Accourding to CISCO the feature was added to 12.1.5EA. I am running 12.1.22EA but do not see the functionality when I go to the port and do a

dot1x ?

Am I missing a global command or something? I see other dot1x commands but just not the one I need.

Thanks

I got a feeling the 2950s don't support MAC AUTH BYPASS. I went to the configuration guides for 12.1(22)EA11 and later and it showed nothing of this feature in the dot1x section and generally it would be located there. By the way, this is the most updated IOS for this switch as of now. See for yourself:

yeah I am running that version and do not see any mac-auth-bypass options at the interface.

Sigh. I'm in rough shape.

Why not downgrade to 12.1.5EA?

I was assumeing it would be there in 12.1.EA22 if it was there in 12.1.EA5. No?

Would they giveth and then taketh away?
