A meridian m8x24 that we service has developed a nasty habit of cutting out [phone lights out, calls dropped] periodically for 20 seconds or so then restarting. We recently replace the old disk based star talk v-mail system with a new flash4 system.
1)Is it likely that the system power supply took a hit at the same time that the v-mail went west?
2) If we replace the chassis can we move the program module from the old chasis to the new without having to reprogram the system.
