M7000 phone wont work!

Hi,
Can someone tell me if the M7000 telephone is compatible with a modular system? All the phones that are models M7100 upwards work ok but the M7000, when plugged in, does nothing except flash the red LED on the top of the phone. Any ideas what's wrong? Regards, Jason

believe 7000 is a euro set not a us/cdn

The M7100, M7208, M7310, M7324, T7406, T7208, T7316 and T 7316E will work with the MICS Systems. The M7000 I tghink that is a meridian PBX phone not compatable with MICS. If I am wrong please let me Know.

Hi, Sorry, I should have said that I am in the UK. Still wont work though!
