When an agent using the M3905 ACD phone presses the not ready key (agent is logged into queue) will the phone display show "NOT READY"? To the best of my knowledge and responses from my colleagues the answer should be NO - the only indication should be the red led activates beneathe the key. However, I have agents who are adamant that the display should show " NOT READY". Any assistance you can provide would be most helpful.

I've found this old report below

ACD sets do not remain in Not Ready when a DN key is pressed.

Problem seen on software rls 3 with M3905 and M3904 Taurus sets

An ACD agent in a Not Ready state presses the DN key to make a call and the Not Ready indicator goes out. When the call is terminated, the NRD indicator comes back on. If the NRD key is pressed during the call, the call is, of course, released.

In this case, Symposium was installed and a SCB was configured in LD23. After removing the SCB and providing an ADS block instead, the Not Ready indicator stays on when the DN key is pressed (!&!)

Note: the problem is not Symposium-related.

M3905 set unable to get out of Not Ready

M3905 agent tele set being unable, after logging in, to take set of Not Ready. Only way to take set of not ready is by logging set out - then it wont take calls.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

tks Firebird - that helps a bit. have a great day

Do you have Symposium? What release software is the PBX?

Currently using Avaya Contact Center 6.0
PBX is CS-1000M - Succession 7.5

Mine shows Not Ready in the display on a 3905. PBX release is 3.0

Keep in mind I don't have Symposium on my lab switch but here is the set print out of my test phone.

Tks - KCFLHRC - I compared your set programming to the agent set that has reported the issue - other than your use of voice mail settigs in CLS nothing really jumps out at me.
The only other differences in CLS are LNA CNDA ICDA MCTA DNDA. None of those would seemingly have anything to do with NOT READY. Could you show me the IDU of this phone?

Here ya go

NT CODE: NTMN06EA

Well - that did't help (unfortunately). The one phone I've found that it does show on here on the floor is Rls Code 12. The one my agent is using is Rls Code 03 and it doesn't show.
Thanks for all your help though. Every little bit helps

You may need to download the latest firmware to the set to get it to work. If you are on 7.5 and haven't downloaded the latest firmware to the set then that is more than likely your issue.
