M3904 won’t display the flexible feature keys

I am replacing a defective m3904 with a “new”(refurbished) m3904 I am on my third phone and cannot get the flexible feature keys to show up properly.
The keys do show up on the old phone.
Any ideas.

Is there a possible firmware conflict on the phones?

sounds like the refurbed phone has older firmware. You can see this by pressing the options button, then the up arrow to select display diagnostics, then select, then the up arrow again. You will see the the flash version. The current flash version with 25.40 is 8.3. Release 3 had the context sensitive keys, but earlier versions like 2 did not. Try downloading the set in overlay 32, using the fdlu command.

Thanks for the firmware info it is great.
But I can’t get my system to use any FSUM type commands.
I get an invalid command error.
I have an option 11 the books don’t list any of these commands.
Any advice?

Rls 24 - you can only use RLS 1 phones - you should be able to specify from your referb vendor.
