I have a few sets of M3904 with some columns missing, mostly in the sides of the display. Any idea how to repair it. I have good knowledge in electronics but the flat cables connected to the display are glued and I don't know how to solve this prpblem.

Thanks for both replies. I still would like to know how to fix this problem with self repairing, even if it is cheaper to use one of the above replies.
Thanks

has the LCD glass that you would need.

However, the others are right - send them off to someone else to repair. By the time you add up your labor, etc., its probably not worth trying to repair yourself.

It's not really even a challenge to learn anything by doing it yourself. Replacing an LCD is a matter of unplugging the old and plugging in the new. The hard part is just getting to it.

Thanks evrybody. A star for CURTISMO. BTW Johnthephoneguy the lcd on M3904 has no plugs, it is heat sealed.

Still no learning curve or challenge regardless of what you have to do to swap them. Maybe the challenge of soldering but i'm reaching for that much lol

i have had a few 3904s that the right side of lcd is missing, what i learned to do, it's going to sound strange but it does work.. tap the side of the 3904 with your palm and it does readjust itself... and i haven't had any repear svc calls on them....
