M3700 version 5.5 -cannot start RES on PC windows 7

Dear All,

I just upgraded my POS 3700 to latest version 5.5 for both server and all applications, I have installed the start RES on a PC running W7 but the start RES (AppStarter.exe)could not load the RES screen to sign in, it just show Micros flash and nothing happen then. This start RES on PC was working fine before upgrading.

The start RES on my POS server (running win server 2008) is running normally

Anyone can help how to fixed it would be appreciate.

I found the cause is the appstart is not call pos operations.

Already checked the appstart.cfg but do not understand why this does not work as it should be.

Sounds like there is a mismatch on the workstation type, network config, or licensing. You can also try restarting the MDS service on the server.
