M2250 console completely lit up / stuck on night 2

We have 2x m2250's. We were experiencing a problem where when one would be put on busy the other would be forced to night, not stay idle.

So I reseated the cable on both of them...

Now one of them is fully lit up, suck in night. I have reseated the cables in both of them a few times. I also made sure that the headsets are in correctly. If I swap the consoles the problem one works fine in the other spot so that suggests its the port/switch vs the console it self.

The cable looks good/solid and like I said it was functioning until I reseated the cable. I dont think its wiring.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.

Couple ideas:

1) Try to disable and reseat the digital line card. Then re-enable.

2) Move the console to the switchroom and hook up locally on the MDF to verify no wiring issues.

I think you are right and its a digital line card.

I have 2 sets now that are not working and they are both on 4 0 4 XX and it looks like the console is too. (looked them up in LD 20)

How do I reset it? (kind of a novice here) ::blush::

disc 4 0 4 get the red led, pull the card, leave for a few secs re seat it
enlc 4 0 4

sometimes doing a CHG on the TN will also do it, i usally chg a CLS setting then put it back...

I advise that you separate the 2 consoles to another digital card or shelf.
