I have an M2006 set that has two TN's - on the same DLC but two all the same. When I did a DNB PRT on LD 11, it showed two seperate TN's but there's only one phone?! How do I fix this? Which TN do I out? How can that happen in the 1st place? System is an 11C.

This seems like you might have some template corruption. Before I run LD01, I would stat the DLC with LD32 to see what it shows. Is the 2nd TN in svc? You could try OUTing the TN or copy or move the good one somewhere else or printing the set config with LD20, and then OUTing both. Then putting it back as NEW. But I think you should do the template audit per NTPs. You mentioned the system is OP11C, I have heard there are some SCC cards that have flaky daughter boards that start loosing memory or other strange things occurring and the switch eventually crashing. So that is something to be aware of.

Hope this helps!

in ld 20, do IDU plus the TN. this will show which TN is connected to the phone. you should get the type of phone, color, cable pair...etc....

Found the "problem". There was a second phone with the same DN behind a six foot high shelving unit. Explains the ringing files... Turns out someone long ago asked for a second phone so they could hear it ring. Seems to have been forgotten and was covered during renovations. I've removed the phone and now everything looks more "normal"....and my M1 is not under any suspicion - yet!

Thanks,
