Hello everyone!
Please help,
I have a LX (OS 6.0_PR1) _,
Then the day before yesterday there E2T abnormalities,
(Alarm>>Category Name :E2T Comms Major)

What are ways to re-start or install it ??
(Or should I say hardware damage)

The E2T I'm almost positive you have to statically assign the IP via 2 Telnet sessions.

Always look out for the next tech. because one day it will be you!

Is there an expansion processor and if so what does it say in the form Hardware Compute Cards?

The LX doesn't have an expansion processor, but it does have a separate E2T processor. It can have the IP assigned via it's own boot parameters, or via a static DHCP assignment. I've seen it done both ways.

@Lundah - I guess it's been too long since I worked on an LX

Coincidently, it was issues with an LX E2T that led me to Tek-Tips for the FAQ on how to build a E2T cable

Thank you!
This piece of equipment, often E2T abnormal;
E2T IP & MAC are displayed on the device,
But is unable to restart E2T,
Sometimes the main system reboot several times,
only normal! I wonder if there are other ways!!

Hugh

If the E2T isn't coming up, you may need to replace the controller. The LX has been discontinued for several years, the replacement is the MXe. Depending on the application, you may also need to add an expansion processor.
