LX and Remote access 1

Call me stupid, but I am used to the old school modem dial up numbers for access into G3's and Intuity's.

I cannot find a thread or documentation, on how to use pptp to dial into an Intuity LX or 8300,8700 etc. Can anyone shed some light? Does anyone have a step by step doc?
