LWC won't shut off

Hi all,
OK, Here's my problem...I had a user that needed to answer a 1800 line that came into our T1. I set up the DNIS to go to an x-port and she has bridged buttons to answer those lines. If she does not get it the call goes into a phantom voice mail box. Since she didn't have any room on her phone for an auto-msg-wait I set the mail box up with outcalling that would dial the Leave word calling access code and her extension to light up her message light. That worked except the light would not go off. With console permissions on my phone, I tried to turn it off but the documentation says that won't work if the voicemail has turned it on which technically it did and it didn't. So I'vedeleted and rebuilt both mailboxes and busied and released her extension but the light just won't go out. please help!!

Have you tried 'clear amw all'?

If this is being turned on by LWC, you need to use lwc to turn it off. She needs to dial the retrieve lwc access and delete the lwc messages to turn it off.

I have not tried a clear amw all because wouldn't that turn off every message light in the switch off?
Also, when I try the lwc cancel access code either from her phone or mine (which have console permissions) I 704 (lwc feature code) and 420 (her extension) I get a busy signal.

The clear amw all command should clear the light as well. I do it all the time when people inadvertently dial the LWC code, if I were a smarter man I'd just delete the FAC.

The command is 'clear amw all xxx' where xxx is the extension you want the light to turn off, that will only turn off the one you want.

Hey, I figured out today why I keep the LWC code: I use it to remotely test the functioning of a MWI. Again, if I were a smarter man I'd have known that already.
