Hi,

I'm needing to add a professional recording to a groups mailbox. I know this is possible to do since R9, but haven't actually done it until now. (My system is 9.1.7, Embedded, Essential Ed)

I have created my file using LVM greeting utility, (my WAV was Uncompressed PCM, 8KHz, 16-bit, mono), selected my output file type as greeting and the user extension as 200 or Main (tried both) and changed the file type from main.c11 to "Main.clp". In embedded file management I am putting it in SYSTEM/DYNAMIC/LVMAIL (and in SYSTEM/DYNAMIC/LVMAIL/AAG just to be sure). Rebooted the life out of it, and nothing.

Is there another step I am missing?

Try the attached one, drop it in system\dynamic\lvmail
In SSA disable the SD card and when shutdown restart the SD card in SSA
In monitor you can see if the file gets loaded during startup of vm - filter = Calls, enable all embedded vm events
Wait a minute and test.
 
That works (your Avaya startup tune) and mine does too, now. I believe where I was going wrong is because I am changing the file type from *.c11 to *.clp (as advised in ). But it works fine if just left as *.c11

Hey there,

I'm having this issue as well. I have tried uploading the files I have with absolutely no luck, following the FAQ posted and everything else I could find. I didn't have a group called Main so I created one and uploaded the file provided, leaving it called Main.c11 and in the System/Dynamic/LVMAIL folder. Restarted the SD Card and still nothing. I noticed that the system renamed the file I uploaded to 000034025.clp, and it's showing the Label as Main Greeting and Format as G.711 ALAW(this is a ulaw system). I have AA files that I have used that worked fine(Uploaded to the AAG folder), but these greetings are not working or even showing up as a un-activated greeting. I've been at this for 2 hours now with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

EDIT: Forgot to include this system is 9.1.8.
 
Look at the logfile C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\LVMGreeting\output.log" after conversion.
