Lucent documentation

I have been working with these two models of Lucent
for the past 4 years. I have never seen any manuals.
I have never successfully configured any of the ports
or cards.
Lucent used to offer some VERY expensive training
classes for these models, but I could not afford them
and my boss could not either. These Lucent machines
use a software application for configuring and monitoring
these machines. I was told 2 years ago that it was
about $50,000.00 and that it only ran on a particular
modle of SUN workstation.

Thanks for the reply.
So you said you worked with them but you never configured anything? How is that?
I played around with commands, did initial setup, but I can't pass data between the two chassis using ATM interfaces.
I've seen the manual for sale, for $150, but I can't afford that.
I think that is one of the reasons those boxes are not that popular anymore - not many people bother to go through the trouble learning about them.
I've never had a problem finding info about Cisco gear, but Lucent seems to be a huge pain.
