Can this be upgraded?


This is stand-alone control unit & 4 18D sets that I bought (at full retail) for my business in the mid-90's and remember paying a fortune for it. Have installed it in my home and am truly amazed at all the features it has and am making much more use of it (Wake-Up calls, Caller ID numbers and names, etc.), than we ever did in the business.

Yes it can be upgraded to the current R6.0. Question is why do you feel the need for it? If you are complaining about how much the system cost originally (full retail which is what you SHOULD have paid) the software upgrade cost won't make you happy either. About all it will do for you in your case is give you the caller ID name and number ("name" button will no longer be needed) and allow you to forward calls sent to an extension to another number like your cell phone assuming you have voice messaging.
