LTO2 tape in a LTO3 drive

Hello,

I must migrate some data.
I can backup on LTO2 tape and drive and restore on LTO3 tape and drive.
It is possible ?
What should I configure if I should.....

LTO-3 is backward read/write compatible with LTO-2 and LTO-3 tapes and read compatible with LTO-1 tapes
