<Select> size

Is there a way to make a pulldown select box so that it is smaller than the standard size. I notice on some sites that it is more narrow than the standard size.

Is this a setting that is done in ASP code?

You can make the select list smaller by reducing the font size. This is done with HTML. Here's what we use to ensure compatibility across many browsers.

<select style=&quot;font-size:xx-small&quot;>
<option value=&quot;1&quot;>First Selection</option>
<option value=&quot;2&quot;>Second Selection</option>
</select>
</font>
